The other night following league play i overheard a man complaining about the stupidity of teams , one for the fact they were too stupid to know how to make their lineup , that's the league format was Stupid ( match play ) . that the lane conditions were stupid since he was leaving corners all night. That it was stupid to have match play since the first place team had 75 points and no one could catch them ( not realizing that the nights points are 20 ) . Several other "Stupid " comments were made regarding certain people and their stupidity.
Not wanting a confrontation with this individual i decided to answer and comment on this media instead.
ARE YOU THAT STUPID YOURSELF? IF YOU REALLY THINK THAT BOWLING AND THE SPORT ITSELF IS THAT STUPID THEN BY ALL MEANS QUIT BOWLING. If bowling made me that unhappy and miserable i would sell all my stuff and retire FOREVER from the game. We need to realize that unless you bowl for a living and was your sole way of income then it's an activity. I am all for a certain amount of competitiveness but when it makes you an loud obnoxious angry man then it's time to either see a shrink or quit.
The very sustainability and life of our sport and recreation stands in the balance and here we have exactly whats killing our sport one of it;s own trashing it in public. People hear that rant and say i don;t want to bowl if that guys is .
